Diogo Fontes Barroso joined Dower Law Firm in 2026, working primarily in the field of Public Law.
He holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto (FDUP) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Legal-Political Sciences at the same institution. He also studied for one semester under the Erasmus programme at the University of Perugia.
During his academic career, he was a member of the FDUP Representatives Council, representing students, and served as president of the Course Committees for the 2nd and 3rd years of the Law degree.
He completed a summer internship at Dower Law Firm in 2024 and at Pacheco de Amorim, Miranda Bloom e Associados in 2025.
Outside academia, he was a member of the Municipal Council of Education and the Metropolitan Strategic Youth Group of AMP, and also served as secretary of the Municipal Youth Council of Santo Tirso.
Also attended a postgraduate course in Administrative Justice at CEDIPRE, the Centre for Public Law and Regulation Studies, at the University of Coimbra.
He is currently president of the Political Committee of a Youth Party organization and is involved in volunteer organizations.
