Miguel Cunha Machado is a Founding Partner of Dower Law Firm.
He is a Lecturer in Labor Law at the University of Santiago, Cape Verde, both at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels – Courses: Individual Labor Relations and Collective Labor Relations (2023–2026).
Trainer for the Preparation Course for access to the CEJ (Judicial Studies Center) – Judicial Courts – Minho Legal Studies Center (CEJUR) – Written and Oral Exams – Civil Procedural Law, Law of Obligations, Insurance Law (2019–2026).
Trainer for the Preparation Course for oral exams of the Intensive Course in Administrative and Tax Justice – for preparation to access the Administrative and Tax Courts – Civil Procedural Law (2023–2025).
Guest Lecturer in the Postgraduate Program in Human Resources and Labor Relations at the Instituto Superior de Entre Douro e Vouga (2020).
He is also a trainer and responsible for various courses on Civil and Labor Procedural Practices – Faculty of Law, University of Porto; School of Law, University of Minho; Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique; Catholic University of Portugal; Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon; events organized in partnership with ELSA (European Law Students Association) and the respective Student Associations.

Master’s degree in Contract and Business Law from the School of Law, University of Minho, with a thesis entitled: “Consumer Rights in the Face of Non-Conformity of Goods: Hierarchy or Alternativity?”.
