Cláudia Babo joined Dower Law Firm in 2026, where she primarily practises in the field of Public Law.
She holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Porto Regional Centre, where she also completed a Postgraduate Course in Labour Law.
She also holds a Postgraduate Degree in Local Government and Urban Planning Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto.

She serves as a Member of the Assembly of the Union of Parishes of Aldoar, Foz do Douro and Nevogilde.
She has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association for over 20 years.
She was Vice-President of the Porto Regional Board (2003/2005) and National Councillor of the National Association of Young Portuguese Lawyers – ANJAP (2004/2005).
At political and associative level, she also served as President of the District Disciplinary Council of a Party Youth Organisation (2003/2005), member of the District Disciplinary Council of a Political Organisation (2004/2006, 2006/2007, 2007/2009, 2009/2011, 2011/2013, 2024/2026), Vice-President (2014/2016) and Political Organisation Secretary (2016/2018).
Between 2002 and 2007, she was part of the law firm “Rodrigues Braga & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, R.L.”, where she mainly worked in the areas of Labour Law, Criminal Law and Litigation.
Between 2008 and 2013, she served as Adviser to the Mayor of the Municipality of Paços de Ferreira, performing coordination duties, drafting legal opinions, reports and regulations, organising Municipal Services, and providing legal support to the various organisational units.
She is the author of opinion articles published in the media.
