Journey
Beatriz Alves Felgueiras joined Dower Law Firm in 2025, where she works mainly in the areas of Public Law and Privacy and Compliance.
She holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University – Porto Regional Centre.
Master of Law, with a Specialisation in Public Regulatory Law from NOVA School of Law, NOVA University of Lisbon. The dissertation focused on “Access and Quality in Healthcare for the Trans Community: The Role of the Health Regulatory Authority in Creating Protective Regulation for People with Queer Identities.”
During her academic career, she completed a curricular internship at DECO – Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection.
She also completed the ADN do Jurista programme, offered by the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University – Porto Regional Centre, where she was awarded the ADN do Jurista Prize.
During both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, she was a scholarship holder.
