Journey
Filipa Ribeiro Gonçalves joined DOWER Law Firm in 2022, where she is mainly dedicated to the areas of Labour Law and Privacy & Compliance.
She holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Business and Corporate Law from the Portuguese Catholic University – Porto, having presented her dissertation on the theme:
"The financing creditor as a third power in corporate governance and its potential liability (In particular: the influence resulting from the inclusion of covenants in bank financing contracts)."
Additionally, she attended:
- The Specialisation Course in Consumer Law, organised by the Consumer Law Centre (CDC) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra;
- The Short Course in Labour Law in the Digital Era, organised by the School of Law of the University of Minho;
- The Personal Data Protection Course, organised by NOVA School of Law;
- The Course on Work Accidents, organised by the Portuguese Association of Labour Law;
- The Practical Course on Artificial Intelligence for the Legal Sector, delivered by Code For All;
- The Short Course in Sports Labour Law, delivered by the School of Law of the University of Minho, under the scientific coordination of JusGov.
She has been actively working with several clients, particularly in the areas of labour advisory services and corporate restructuring.
