Maria Beatriz Simões has been a Trainee Lawyer at Dower Law Firm since November 2022, where she focuses mainly on Corporate and Civil Law.
Graduated in Law from "Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique" (2022).
She is currently attending a Master's Degree in Law, specializing in Legal-Private Sciences, at the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Porto".
Is attending a post-graduate course in Arbitration Law at the Private Law Research Center of the "Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa".
During her academic career, she completed a summer internship at Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2021 and a summer internship at AdC Advogados - Alves da Cunha e Associados in 2022.
During her academic life, she completed the Labor Procedural Practices Course, the Compliance Short Course and the Industrial Property and Artificial Intelligence Short Course.
She has also held various positions of responsibility during her academic life, including:
- General Secretary of ELSA Portucalense;
- Co-Head of Logistics at WELS (Winter ELSA Law School) Vila Nova de Gaia (3rd Edition);
- Vice President of Academic Activities at ELSA Portucalense;
- Head of Social Program at WELS (Winter ELSA Law School) Vila Nova de Gaia (2nd Edition);
- Fundraising Officer at the Law and International Relations Student Group (NEDRI).
